• When is the best time to book a newborn session?

The best time to book a newborn session is within the first two weeks of your baby's birth when they are sleepiest and easiest to pose for photos. It's best to book the session while you are still pregnant to secure a spot with your chosen photographer.

• How long does a newborn session last?

​

A typical newborn session usually lasts between 2-4 hours. This is because newborns require a lot of attention and care during the session, including feeding, diaper changes, and soothing. Additionally, the photographer will need time to set up and adjust lighting and props, as well as capture a variety of poses and shots.

• What if the baby does not sleep?

On a very rare occasions newborns ( 5-10 days ) do not sleep which might be caused  for instance by colics or cluster feeding day. In case bronze package is booked we do wrapped basket shots instead to get little one in a sleepy and more comfy mode. If silver or golden package is booked and little one has not settled after an hour or feeding, rocking and comforting I do offer reschedules to the nearest available date.

• Do I need to bring anything with me?  

Please remember to bring some extra nappies and wipes with you to the session along with changing mat. If the baby is taking formula, please bring a few extra bottles with you.

• Do I need to bring outfits or other props for my baby?

Our studio has a great variety of props and accessories that are used during newborn sessions and each session is designed and styled in a unique way so that no two sessions are alike. A part of our pre-session consultation includes going over parents preferences in colors, props and poses and any other special requests.

• Can we have a family photo taken during the newborn session?

The pretty and special package includes couple of sibling shots.

. Siblings do arrive for the end of the session to have their photographs taken.

• What can we wear for the family photos with the baby?

It is best to wear a plain white/grey/black tops or tshirts to ensure that the clothes don’t take away from the main focus which is your precious new family.

• When will my photos be ready for viewing?

Your  gallery will be delivered to you electronically within 10 working days after the date of the session.
